Military Counseling Network e.V. The Clearing Barrel Coffeehouse
       Richard-Wagner-Str-48 67655 Kaiserslautern Germany +49(0)151-56727550
Dear Friends,                                                                    December, 2013

The only GI-coffeehouse outside of the U.S., The Clearing Barrel,
in Kaiserslautern, Germany, needs your support.

A representative from The Clearing Barrel has the opportunity to go on a unique speaking tour in the U.S. between February and March, 2014, visiting various anti-war and veteran organizations as well as church and activists groups on the West Coast.

The tour aims to create awareness concerning the work performed by outreach centers and promote a network in support of these worthy ventures.

The Clearing Barrel, seat of the Military Counseling Network, is part of the
GI Rights Hotline. It is the only non-profit and non-governmental organization overseas providing a place for U.S. military personnel, veterans and their families to socialize, find support and receive free, confidential and accurate information on U.S. military regulations and practices.

The Clearing Barrel’s representative will accompany the two GI-coffeehouses located in the U.S. on this tour: Under The Hood at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, and
Coffee Strong at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Lakewood, Washington.

In order to enable a speaker from The Clearing Barrel - Military Counseling Network - in Germany to take part in this important tour, we are asking for your donations*. We are aiming to collect approximately $ 2000. for travel expenses.

Please help us with your contributions to make it possible for us to be part of this tour.
Sincerely, Meike and Chris Capps-Schubert

13.12. MOONSCAPE 14.12 JAZZ

I got one new case of very good special belgian beer
   from a micro brewery
 - Tumulus Nera 8% dark, based on wheat malt, a triple wheat stout
 - Tumulus Aura 5,5% a blond -
-Tumulus Magna 9%  is a strong wheat beer inspired by the German   “Weizen” wheat beers, but with that something extra.

And Today

It has always been one of mankind's boldest dreams to explore outer space. With the rise of space exploration in the 1960s, the unfathomable became reality. While several moon landings took place, no one was ever to return. How do I know this, you might ask? Well, fine sir, I proudly call it my homeland. In fact, we used ingenious little baby-giraffe robots posing as Neil Armstrong and the like to deceive the public. But rest assured, we took good care of them. That lifeless, stubborn rock high up in the sky you see every day is actually the home to a thriving music scene. Wandering through the streets of Serenity City means being surrounded by gentle sound waves coming from every corner. Music is our lifeblood, literally. Now we'd like to share. Through use of the human Internet we discovered a great deal of your music, so it's only fair that you get a slice of our cake.
We hereby present you moonscape - enjoy!
